Wines

We have tried to create a wine list that offers a selection of old favourites combined with some more unusual & quirky wines, the common theme being that we believe that they are all well made wines offering good value for money. Every wine on the list has been picked specifically and in most cases tasted against wines of a similar style and quality, to try and ensure that we are offering the best wine that we can for the money.

Our pricing structure means that we make a much lower percentage on more expensive wines, trying to achieve a cash margin rather than a set percentage, which results in a good value list and helps to make the more expensive wines affordable.

We have recently introduced a suggested wines section on to our menu. Next to each starter and main course we have listed one, two or three numbers that represent bin numbers from our wine list. The suggestions that we have made are either traditional matches or combinations that we have tried and enjoyed. Please remember this is only a suggestion, our aim is for you to enjoy your meal and your wine whatever the combination may be.

Although our wine list is comprehensive, we realize that there may be times that you wish to have a wine that you cannot find on our list, and for this reason we are happy for you to bring your own wine with you to enjoy with your meal. We charge £9 per bottle corkage for still wine & £15 for sparkling wine.
